How I can help

I work with people living with chronic pain and related difficulties, helping them better understand what is happening, reduce the impact pain is having on daily life, and feel more in control again.

My approach is tailored to the individual, depending on what you are struggling with and what kind of support is likely to be most helpful.

How I work

I use a range of psychological approaches depending on the person, the difficulties they are experiencing, and what is likely to be most helpful.

This may include approaches such as:

  • cognitive behavioural therapy
  • hypnotherapy
  • relaxation techniques
  • other pain management approaches, where appropriate

The aim is always to help you better understand what is happening, reduce the impact pain is having on daily life, and support you in feeling more in control again.

I will always explain things clearly and work in a way that feels supportive, practical and appropriate for you.

Safe and professional support

I am registered with recognised professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council, and work within professional standards designed to keep clients safe and well supported.
